Prayer is how we develop intimacy with God. He has so many good things He wants to give His children. He will hold nothing back from us when our hearts are right and when we ask. These prayers will show you how to pray to receive salvation, the baptism in the holy spirit.
We also show you how to pray to release your spiritual gifts. God promises us that if we ask, we will receive. Take him at his word because he is faithful and will give you what is good and acceptable.
Matthew 21:22. Always search your heart before prayer. If there is something that is not right, He will show you. Simply ask Him to forgive you. Now you ready to receive from the Lord. You can not earn these blessings, they are given to you free when you ask in faith and receive. It is not enough to just ask, but you must receive. This is all done by faith!
God Wants to Bless You
As I said in a previous article, God will use you, not because you are perfect, but when you are open to receive from him. The prayers here at things the father wants to do for you. He wants you to be saved, and to have the power of the holy ghost. The Lord also wants to use you for the gifts to be a blessing to the body of Christ.
Let’s look at Luke 11:13 – If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? He promises to give you the Holy Ghost if you ask! So my friend, ask and you will receive!
Receiving the Holy Ghost or being used in spiritual gifts, are not an indication:
- That you are super spiritual
- That you are special
- That you are a minister
These gifts are available to every Born Again believer, as tools of prayer, ministry and edification. 1 Corinthians 12:1
Prayer of Salvation
If you do not know Jesus Christ as Savior, say this prayer:
Father, I come before you because I am a sinner. I have made lots of mistakes and ask that you forgive me. Wash me in the blood of Jesus and make me clean. I am so sorry for my sins. I repent and turn away from my sins and turn to you because you promised in 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I believe your word Lord, and I receive your forgiveness, I receive the gift of Salvation, through your Son Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord.
Prayer to Receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit
Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. You are faithful and according to, Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
You are my heavenly Father and you desire only good things for me. Lord, I ask that you fill me with your Holy Spirit, baptize me with power and fire, and the manifestation of tongues, my prayer language. I receive it right now by faith, thank you. Now begin to praise God, and receive the Blessing.
Pray for the of the Release Gifts of the Spirit
Lord, I come to you in the name of your Son Jesus Christ. I thank you for all you have done for me. I thank you for saving me and setting me free from the bondage of sin. I love you Lord and will continue to serve you faithfully. Father, I know you have gifts for me, you said in Ephesians 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men.
So I know this means me. Use me in the gifts of the spirit to bless the body of Christ and to minister to the lost. God, ask that you show me what my gifts are, and then I ask that these gifts begin to manifest in my life. Thank you, Lord, for the release of my spiritual gifts! I receive them by faith. Hallelujah!

Dear servant of God, I found your articles exceptionally wonderful. Especially on the activation of the gifts of the spirit. I have dreamed of healing the sick, delivering demon possessed people, and working miracles. I have also seen an open vision which came to password for word. I discerned a spirit one time and it was confirmed. Since then it is four years now since I started praying to be used more in the gifts and nothing is happening. Even dreams that were common are now scarce in the sense that I forget all I dream about. I pray averagely four hours daily, it used to be seven hours daily. In 2016 I fasted for half the year-six months. This year, I have already fasted for four months. Nothing good is happening, WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME????

Hello, Ben. There is nothing wrong with you. It is time to walk out the thing and directives God gave you in the past. I have a question for you. Is there anything the Lord told you to do, that you haven’t done yet? If there are, I suggest doing those things. Even if it is something that seemed difficult or even impossible, step out in faith and do it. This is your season of action.
