Christian Marriage - What God has Joined Together

Use this prayer for marriages for yourself, friends, and family. Say it out loud and believe God to move on your behalf. Pray for marriages. Father comes before you in the name of Jesus to pray for marriages in crisis. We thank you that you are an ever-present help in a time of trouble. We know that you hear the cries of your people and will not forsake us. We pray for this husband, this wife, this family. Cover them with your precious blood and bring healing and restoration of communication and relationship. Prayers for Married Couples Prayers #1 Father God, release your heavenly angels to minister your grace and mercy. Bring unity where there is division, love where there is coldness, understanding where there is confusion, compassion where there is the hardness of heart, and restoration where there is brokenness. Those who do not know you as Lord and Savior open their eyes and heart to know you that they need you in their lives. To those who are backslidden, please bring them back to the cross of Jesus Christ. Right now, we decree that every work of darkness be revealed, and the light of Jesus Christ shine in every dark place. We drive a wedge between every spirit of adultery. Let them find no joy or peace in the sin—we frustration every relation that is not of you. Lord, drive that mistress away. Drive that man that is not her spouse away. Cause them to despise each other, and let them find no comfort in their bed of sin. Lord send your Holy Spirit and let those in adultery have no rest from your convicting presence. Touch each hardened heart, open the eyes of those who are being deceived. Bring restoration. Healed the broken hearts and pour in your healing oil. Bring this marriage back together and allow them to find trust and love once again. Lord, know that you have heard this prayer, and we believe the Holy Spirit is moving in the lives of these couples and these families. We thank and praise you for the victory and for what you are doing right now, in Jesus' name. Amen. Prayer #2 Lord, we ask that you comfort this family in their time of sadness. Pour in the oil and wine, and may your peace cover their minds, bodies, souls, and home. We rebuke the spirit of darkness and come against every demonic spirit. We come against division, anger, abuse, adultery, indifference, abandonment, and despair. Lord, you have ordained marriage, and by this covenant, you have made them one flesh. We take authority over the enemy that comes to kill, steal, and destroy their union. Please give them the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Lord, protect and comfort the children, Be with them and guide them. Cause them to feel your love. Put angles around them and give them joy in the spirit of what is happening around them. Father, we know that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Father if they are not saved. If they do not know you as Savior, draw them by your Spirit. Send people to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them. Remove the scales from their eyes and hearts and let them see there is a better way to live. Cause them to see the error or their ways. Lord, Bring forgiveness, healing, and restoration. Father, cause them to make you the head of their home. Cause them to have a true relationship with you and each other.
