God’s Spiritual Awakening.   Are you unsatisfied with your Christian walk?  Do you have a strong desire for change?  Do you walk a deeper walk with the Lord?  Are you willing to walk by faith and not by sight?  If you answer these question is yes, you are a great candidate for a spiritual awakening.

What is a Spiritual Awakening?

A spiritual awakening is a supernatural touch of the Holy Spirit that opens your heart, mind, and soul, to a need dimension in the Holy Spirit.  It comes when you long for more of God.  It comes when you are thirsty to know God as never before. The most important thing about a spiritual awakening is, it is not for you, but it is for others.

This spiritual awakening will come when you seek the Lord with all your being.  It will come when you hunger for the men and women to come to Christ.  It will come when you forget about yourself and cry out for the lost and broken.  It will come when you deny yourself and pick up your cross to follow him.   Are you ready for this awakening?


The Holy Spirit Brings Spiritual Awakening

As a believer, we are on a constant journey discovery.  As we discover who God is, is also discover who we are and see our strengths and our weaknesses.   God has so much to offer us.  “I Corinthians 2:9 tells us, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him”

Do you want to know God is a fuller way?  Good, because God wants us to grow beyond being a church member. He wants us to become living epistles read and know of men.   That means when people see us, they know we have been with Him.   Ask the Father to fill you with the holy spirit.

God will fill you with himself.  God will open your eyes to see and hear Him in a new way.   He will also give you gifts of the holy spirit to use to bless the body of Christ and for ministry.  This awakening will be a blessing, and also, a cross to carry.  To whom much is given, to much is required.

Holy Spirit Gifts are to Bless Others

The Apostle Paul taught extensively on this.  These abilities are given by the Holy Ghost, to those who desire to receive them.  They are supernatural in nature and are called grace gifts because they are the expression of the grace of God.  They cannot be earned, but are given by God, for the asking!

In 1 Corinthians 12, we learn that spiritual gifts are given to the believer by God, “that all may profit.” Verse 11 says they are given according to God’s divine will. Ephesians 4:12  says these gifts are given to for the preparation of service and to strengthen or build up the body of Christ.

The term “holy spirit gifts”  or “spiritual gifts” comes from the Greek,  charismata and pneumatika.  The plural form of the word charisma means, the expression of grace. This is God’s grace undeserved or earned.   Pumatikon is the expression of Spirit.   In short amazing endowments is the expression of God’s love, given and by grace.

How the Holy Spirit Gifts are Used

Ministry is not restricted to be used only in church, or ministry meeting, but are portable in the sense they can be used wherever there is a need, for healing, deliverance, and restoration.   When you open your heart to minister to other with compassion, God will flow through you.

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners…Isaiah 61:1 NIV.  Wherever there is a need, God can use us to help others.

Love Plus the Gifts

I Corinthians 13 it tells of the importance of having love, which is a spiritual fruit.   Love is the very nature of God, and it has been shed abroad in the heart of every believer.   When we are used by the Holy Ghost, and we minister in the love of God, Miracles will take place, and God is glorified.

1Corinthians 13:2  And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
