Bruce Jenner – What the Church Needs to Know

By | June 3, 2015

I will say our world is quickly changing and it is terrifying.  Bruce Jenner, has been in the news the last few months concerning a change in his identity.   He is brave to some, and an abomination to others, but let’s not take our eyes off the real problem.  We live in a lost and dying world.  These things were once hidden, and are not new; however,   are now becoming more and more acceptable.

We have the Answer

alt="what the church should know a out bruce jenner"The remedy to a lost world is the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the blood sacrifice of his son.  Christians have to come out of the Church, and get on the highest hill and let our lights shine. The church is basically sleep. No, not your church, but many churches.  Church activities and the like are entertaining, but they won’t change the world.

It’s like never cleaning your house, then complaining what a mess it is.  We can’t shake our heads about Bruce Jenner, or the condition of this world if we are not willing to minister the Gospel to everyone. The fields are with unto harvest, but the laborers are few! It is our responsibility to go into the highway and hedges and compel the lost to come to Christ.  What would you say to Mr. Jenner, if you met him personally?

We were Once In Darkness

Even Paul reminded us, in, I Corinthians 6:1, “And such were some of you: however, ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”  We can not forget, that we also once walked in the darkness of our flesh.  We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.  All of us!

The beautiful gospel song, says, “I once was lost, but now I’m found…was blind but not I see!”   We have to be people for prayer and fasting if we are to take on this challenge.  Most of all, be willing to present people with a solution and an answer to sin and bondage; which is Salvation through Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:14 (KJ21)  -14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

Bruce Jenner is a Symptom

As Christians, our job is to declare the power of the cross and deliverance through the blood of Jesus.  We know the reason we believe; the world does not.  Let’s get out of our comfortable surroundings, and go into the real world, to let people know; God loves them, and that there is a way out of sin, struggle and confusion.; and there is a way out of darkness, into God’s marvelous light!

We like to categorize sin, but sin, is sin and all of it will keep you out of heaven.   Bruce Jenner is a symptom, of Satan’s influence and ability to corrupt the hearts and mind of God’s creation.  If you are honest, you remember the pull of that ungodly influence.  You might not have felt you were a woman trapped in a man’s body, but you had your own demons.   I remember the torment of being lost in addiction!

I am so grateful that I no longer walk in darkness, so grateful, I want to see other who are in bondage set free.  God is not a respecter of persons, he died for the sin of the world.  Mr. Jenner needs our prayers and he needs to be delivered and set free.  He needs to be saved.
